Seattle Audubon's 14th Annual Holiday Open House
Saturday, Dec. 6 10AM-4PM
Enjoy home-baked cookies, hot cider, shade-grown coffee, children's activities and free gift wrapping. The Nature Shop will be expanded and packed with the latest books, new games and puzzles and its usual "best selection in the region" of birding optics. Come celebrate the start of the Holiday Season by shopping locally at Seattle Audubon's Nature Shop where profits are for the birds!  Annual Holiday Potluck Dinner- please join us! Saturday, December 6th 2008.  Women Painters of Washington is partnering with the City of Seattle’s Restore Our Waters Initiative to present Waters Alive !,  Find field trips, classes, meetings and more!

Get involved this fall with the Christmas Bird Count (Dec 27th 2008), Puget Sound Seabird Survey or Neighborhood Bird Project!  News Release: The State of Washington Commissioner of Public Lands, the Seattle and Kittitas Audubon Societies (Audubon), the Washington Forest Protection Association (WFPA) and Weyerhaeuser Company announce the settlement of ongoing litigation over Northern Spotted Owls.  Congress has signed into law the Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008 which includes an extension of the IRA Charitable Rollover  Seattle Audubon is seeking a volunteer History Committee Chair to act on our History Committee!  Seattle Audubon is seeking a volunteer Publisher for our newsletter, Earthcare Northwest!  Check out these books published by Seattle Audubon. Now available at the Nature Shop!
