With rising energy costs, leading edge players in the residential building industry are realizing that energy efficient designs and products result in lower expenses over the lifetime of a home. Discover the benefits of energy efficiency, such as increased comfort, affordability and resale value. Learn about energy efficiency rating systems and incentives. Identify and explain energy efficiency designs and products. Explain how clients can access federal, provincial and utility incentive and rebate programs to reduce the cost of improving home energy efficiency and increase payback timeframes.

Our workshops are taught by leaders in the field of energy efficiency, renewable energy, ecological literacy and sustainable urban design, enabling participants to:
- Advance energy efficiency and renewable energy in new and existing buildings
- Participate in emerging business opportunities and community initiatives that are underway in BC
- Evaluate and measure energy savings and systems performance for raising comfort levels in buildings, improve indoor air quality, lowering energy costs and reducing building environmental impacts
- Access and promote the incentives, subsidies, financing and cost saving measures available to make energy efficiency upgrades more economical
