Ottawa’s involvement in an initiative for citizens to reduce their carbon footprint could be replicated around the world, says the executive director of Zerofootprint.
“We want to show how grassroots engagement can work in terms of mobilizing resources to reduce footprints,” said Deborah Kaplan from Toronto yesterday.
Zerofootprint is a Canadian not-for-profit organization that engages citizens in an effort to lessen their impact on the environment.
