Young Conservation Professionals (YCP) provides professional development and leadership training for land and water conservation professionals in Ontario.
YCP participants take part in an intensive Career Development Program (CDP) consisting of three 3-day residential retreats, four one-day workshops and guided, on-the-job practice and reflection back home – all focused on developing leadership and management skills, all focused on enhancing leadership and management competencies. The total on-site time commitment over the course of the year is 13 days.
YCP is a project of the Centre for Land and Water Stewardship, University of Guelph.
