The Sustainable Woods Network helps speed advancement in the quality and native diversity of our woodlands while strengthening the rural economy.
If you are a consumer, you can buy directly from rural families, supporting their environmental stewardship. And if you are a landowner, you can locate qualified service providers to learn more about how to take care of your woodlands for the generations to come.
The Sustainable Woods Network is sponsored by the Community Forestry Resource Center in the Institute for Agriculture and Trade Policy, Minneapolis, MN.
The Network links private woodland owner groups practicing sustainable management on their land with consumers and other landowners seeking to support this work.
Also highlighted are artisans who use sustainably sourced materials in their work and landowner service providers.
