The Dorset Coast Forum was established in 1995 to look at the long-term issues facing the Dorset Coast.
The overriding aim of the Forum is to promote a sustainable approach to the management, use and development of Dorset’s coastal zone, which will ensure that its inherent natural and cultural qualities are maintained and enhanced for the benefit of future generations.
A strategy has been written on behalf of the Dorset Coast Forum who are currently involved in the process of implementing the actions contained within the Strategy. It sets out a future for the coast, covering the coastline and inshore seas from Lyme Regis to Christchurch.
