Developed by the U.S. Green Building Council, the LEED rating system is the definitive green standard. It evaluates and recognizes buildings and interiors that are healthy and environmentally responsible, throughout their life cycles. KI employees are encouraged to attain LEED Accredited Professional certification to help their customers and partners understand and meet the requirements for achieving high-performance, sustainable buildings. They continue to educate themselves about better environmental approaches, and eagerly share their increasing knowledge about the whole building experience. By putting sustainability into practice, they’re following a natural course to environmental performance.
