The Country Rose Soap Company started to make handmade soap as a way to enjoy the harvest of their country garden. The Company takes its name from their 150 shrub rose collection. Most of the flowers and herbs grown organically in the gardens find their way into one of their handmade soaps, handmade herbal bath or beauty products. As strong believers of organic gardening principles, they compost kitchen and garden waste and collect rainwater to make a ‘compost tea’ for fertilizing the extensive gardens. The flowers and herbs are completely safe to use in the various handmade soap, herbal bath and beauty products and as a bonus they attract loads of bees, birds and butterflies. They are located in Langley, British Columbia, Canada.
