Hamlet Heavy Timberwork Ltd. is a traditional timber frame construction company dedicated to building inspired heavy timber structures from local materials.
With more and more pressure being put onto our forests to keep pace with a growing and developing planet, methods used to produce lumber & timber are rightly coming under increased scrutiny. That’s why Hamlet Heavy Timberwork Ltd. buys their timber from local sawmills who purchase their logs locally. If a client has enough forested land, they will help them selectively harvest their own trees for use in their timber framing project, as well as other areas in the home.
A super-insulated enclosure system utilising recycled insulation rounds out the package, ensuring that the long term costs of the building are as considered as the up front costs.
