The mission of the 6BC Botanical Garden is to enhance the quality of life in New York City by fostering a sense of environmental responsibility and appreciation in all New Yorkers, and enabling community participation in the creation of a beautiful, bio-diverse green space for all to enjoy.
Located on Manhattan’s Lower East Side, they provide a much needed and all too rare public space for the care and preservation of natural beauty, bio-diversity, and renewable energy (solar electric).
