The purpose of the Society is the creation of a park for the residents of Sooke, through the preservation of Ayum Creek, (also known as Stoney Creek), its delta, estuary, and adjacent lands necessary for the protection and restoration of the natural habitat of spawning salmon and other wildlife in the surrounding area.
