The Ramblers’ Association is Britain’s biggest charity working to promote walking and to improve conditions for all walkers. With 139,000 members in England, Scotland and Wales, they’ve been working for walkers for 70 years.
Did you know that in England and Wales, there is no general legal right to walk along the coast and on beaches? Currently much of the access the public has to areas such as beaches and cliff tops are by permission of the landowner. The Ramblers’ Association campaigning for a legal right of access to our coastline and beaches for future generations.
