Zerofootprint is delighted to be working with Squid Labs and subsidiary Potenco on an innovative effort to change the world and offer opportunities where none would have existed before: an efficient, human-powered generator to provide reliable, affordable electricity to people in developing countries.
The new generators, which will be field-tested beginning this October, use a pull-string and are capable of producing 20 Watts.
This generator will not only bring power and opportunities to places that don’t have much of either right now, they’ll also provide light which will displace demand for expensive and polluting kerosene lamps.
