This introduction course gives an overview of the Ecological Design Science that is the Permaculture Design framework.

This course will look at how to design human “eco-systems,” working collaboratively with one another to care for the planet and ourselves.

This is envisioned as a collaborative event between the Nature Center and Lost Valley’s Ecovillage and Permaculture Certification Programs.

The objective of the course is to raise your awareness of global and regional ecological issues, extend your ability to interpret your environment, and to learn practical applications for maximising the potential of a site or a situation-by design.

This practical course is for anyone who believes that we need to find ways to care for ourselves, for each other and for the Earth.
