Chef Jim Drohman from Le Pichet and Café Presse will be giving this cooking demonstration at the Chefs booth in the Sunday Organic Market.

The University District Farmers Market is Seattle’s oldest and largest “farmers-only” neighborhood market. Founded in 1993, this Saturday market offers a place for more than 50 Washington State farmers to sell their fresh produce and quality products each week.

Operating since 1999, the West Seattle Farmers Market features over 35 Washington State farmers and small food processors each week.

An interesting event for an eco-friendly public. It will feature organic producers selling their local and seasonal produce, conferences, organic food cafeterias and restaurants and much more related to sustainable business and the environment in general.

Come out and enjoy music, facepainting and a fun scavenger hunt which will connect kids (and parents!) with the people who work hard to grow your food.

Come out and buy the freshest, local Ontario produce, hand-made crafts, preserves, baked goods and much more from over 40 vendors.
