Darwin’s Nightmare is an Oscar-nominated documentary by Hubert Sauper. It details what has happened in regions of Tanzania that border Lake Victoria after the Nile perch was introduced to the ecosystem in the 1970s. It is an enigmatic tale of fish, economics, and the international arms trade.
The movie will be followed by a discussion with speakers from Engineers Without Borders, RESULTS Canada, and a student overseas development volunteer.
