Climate Law in Australia is the first Australian conference to focus exclusively on the emerging legal dimensions of global warming.

Climate change has become the focus of intense global and Australian media interest, public concern and political and policy activity. It not only offers significant technological and economic challenges relating to the reduction of greenhouse emissions, but also presents novel legal problems.

This two day conference will explore vital legal issues that Australian climate policy makers, academics and lawyers are beginning to confront.
